The Tall Ships' Race brings historic ships to a host of European port cities. Watch massive pirate-style ships with billowing white sails from the vantage-point of docks around the North Sea and Baltic coasts.
The race started in Antwerp in 2010. When the ships dock for a day or two, clamber aboard these old-fashioned wooden beauties and watch sailors marching through the streets during the Parade of Sail. Or head for the open seas yourself by applying to be a crew member for the trip.
